Texas Foster Parents are Gearing up to
Be Motivated & Inspired by a Former Foster Youth!
Eric Anderson The Magician with a Message will make a Special Appearance in Austin Texas to present the keynote address during the Texas Foster Families Association annual conference to be held at the Omni Hotel October 7 – 9, 2010.
Foster Parents will travel to Austin from all over the state and other parts of the country to attend this year’s conference whose theme is The Magic of Foster Parents.
"Eric Anderson is a "Sure Thing"; he will motivate, educate and entertain all types of audiences regardless of age. Mr. Anderson's training skills placed him as the new highest rated trainer (through participant evaluation) for our Staff Recognition Day over the last 15 years" says Robert Robertson Executive Vice President of Valley Youth House.
Eric is no stranger to foster care. After experiencing a failed adoption he was placed in foster care and lived in group homes and foster homes until he was eighteen. His life was turned around when someone taught him a simple magic trick.
“As a foster youth who’s life was impacted by foster parents it’s always a pleasure to motivate foster parents to want to help transform the lives of the children in their care” says Eric Anderson.
Today Eric Anderson specializes in motivating Foster Parents Social workers and Youth who are about to age out of the foster care system with his presentation The Magic of Attitude. He is also the author of the book Success after Foster Care.
