Are you thinking about using a Magician from Atlanta?  If the answer is yes here are three extremely important questions you must ask - more importantly the answers you better hear.  If you hear anything other then the three answers I’m going to share with you, hang up the phone and call someone else.  Repeat this process until you get three correct answers.

 

Over the years when I was already booked for a conference and the Atlanta Magician I would normally recommend was not available, my clients would ask me what they should look for in selecting a magician.  


Here are the three questions I suggest they ask.


Question # 1 Can you provide me with at least twenty testimonial letters or video testimonials of clients you have worked with in the past. 

Correct Answer #1 YES I’m faxing, mailing or here’s the link on my website etc.

Important – Video speaks for itself, but when you see a brief Quote ask to see the entire letter that it came from.  Some people actually make up fake testimonials, so be very careful.  Good magicians can easily perform hundreds of shows over a few years so asking for at least twenty testimonials is being kind.  

Question #2 Can I see an uncut video of you performing in front of an audience from beginning to end? 

Correct Answer #2 – Yes I will forward a link to you.  Or I’ll put a copy of my show in the mail and you should have it in a couple of days to view.


The reason this question is so important to ask is because everyone looks good when the performance footage is Edited together.  How many times have you seen the trailer for a movie that looked like it was going to be Incredible.  You bought a ticket watched the flick and realized you wasted your time and money.  In this situation you may have wasted between $10 – $20 dollars so what life goes on!  


However when you contract a magician you’re investing in your reputation.  If the Atlanta Magician you get is GREAT your stock goes up among your peers and everyone loves you for getting such a wonderful entertainer.  BUT let’s look at the other side of that coin.  If the Magician you get is Bad your stock goes down among your peers and everyone will look at you like “What on earth where you thinking.”


The easiest way to help solve this problem is to get an uncut performance of their entire show from beginning to end - No Exceptions! 


Question #3 Can I have my investment back if you do not achieve __________.

Correct Answer #3 No Problem!


Here is where you get to fill in the blank.  There must be some sort of outcome you are hoping achieve when you contract this magician for your event.  If there not willing to put it all on the line then find someone else.  


Example – When I provide entertainment at an event I GURANTEE my client a Standing Ovation or they do not owe me a single red cent. 


So ask yourself what outcome you would like to experience and then ask the entertainer bring on board to Guarantee that exact outcome.


The whole goal is that you the client feels more then comfortable when bringing an entertainer to your event.
