Oh yeah - I was also selected to entertain at the "Salute to Heroes Inaugural Ball" during President Barack Obama's Inauguration in Washington D.C.
Let me share a little of my personal background so as we keep talking some of the stuff I will say later on will make more sense to you.
After experiencing a failed adoption I was placed in the California’s Child Welfare System and I lived in numerous foster homes until I was eighteen. During this time in my life I was really going through some stuff. However I was able to focus on something else while I was going through my “situation”.
Let me explain!
When I was five years old my adoptive father taught me a simple magic trick. Shortly after that when I was placed in foster care, the art of magic gave me something positive to focus on while I was being moved from home to home. Honestly Magic SAVED my life!

I made my fair share of mistakes, but for the most part I was able to stay out of trouble because I would sit around and practice the art of magic for hours on end, it was insane. But eventually I got really good, so good in fact I started doing shows and making a few bucks.
Well I was hooked, I discovered what I was good at and I decided this was how I was going to make my living.
Of course I heard all of the nonsense like –
“Eric you will never succeed and your life will amount to nothing.”Luckily for me I completely IGNORED the Haters. When I turned 18 I started reading lots of books on Personal Development. This helped combat some of the negative thoughts I was exposed too.
Anyway after high school I served a brief stint in the Air Force and worked a few odd jobs before making my dream come true, by traveling the world and entertaining audiences with my unique brand of magic.
And guess what, I actually did it.
Of course there where some hardships along the way but I turned my passion into a career entertaining audiences around the world. I was stoked!
For a number of years I was living my dream when a friend suggested I share my story with my audiences. I asked her WHY? She said when people see your show they will have a lot of questions about how you’re able to do some of the things you do. I think you should tell your story and explain to people WHY you do what you do.
One of the things I learned is sometimes our goal(s) will lead us to our real goal. And that’s exactly what happened.
Even though I amaze people for a living after that first performance where I shared my story with the audience I was Absolutely Thunderstruck by the response. People surrounded me and wanted to know HOW?
This was the first time none of the questions had anything to do with how I performed the illusions in my show. Instead everyone wanted to know how I was able to overcome my challenges and live the life I’m currently living.
That’s when I became known as The Magician with a Message.

Ok - Let’s fast forward a few years. Today I frequently speak and entertain at Corporate Meetings, Sales Conferences, and events for Social Workers, Foster Parents and Youth still in Foster Care.

Because each organizations exact needs are always different when you contact my office for more information I will ask you a few basic questions. I will then send you a proposal outlining your options. If the event is more then 5 hours driving outside of Atlanta Georgia that means I’m hoping on a plane. First Class Airfare & Hotel is required and discounted by client sharing when possible. Make sure you ask about my special program in which I will fly coach it’s a win – win for everyone. A 50% deposit is required to confirm / hold a date. The remaining fee plus pre-billed expenses is payable at the event prior to the presentation. The 50% Deposit is NON-refundable in case of event cancellation or re-scheduling.
If the date your interested is open it’s first come first serve. (Important) Because my performance schedule is updated almost daily I do not put any dates on hold until we actually go to contract for your event.
I wouldn’t have it any other way. The audience wants to continue the process. And any speaker who believes they can really create change during a 60 – 90 minute presentation has been smoking some real funny stuff. I am the author of two books and I also have a series of products that are targeted for specific audiences. I will make these educational materials available to your audience, so they may continue the learning process after the presentation. There are two ways this can be arranged.
1. Group purchase in advance for each attendee, at whole sale price.
2. Materials made available at the back of the room after the presentation.

My presentations are self-contained and can happen in almost any venue. Over the years I have found that it’s best to be able to give presentations under any conditions. I have created very effective ways to put on really big productions without the production cost. All of my programs are designed with that in mind.
My audio and visual is simple. Raised platform or Full stage – 1 wireless lavaliere (clip on) microphone – 1 wireless handheld microphone with a microphone stand –Depending on the presentation I’m presenting - A large screen for the video portion of the show. In addition to a bio, photos, posters I will also provide you with my introduction for your event.
As many as you feel comfortable with, I have given presentations in front of audiences with as many as 10,000 people in attendance.
My Signature Speaking Programs and Shows typically run between 60 – 90 minutes. My Hyper - Intensive Personal Development and Marketing Seminars last between one and three days depending on the seminar.
Of course! At the end of the my program I have a section called “Eric Unwrapped” during this portion the audience is encourage too ask me any question they want an answer to. If this isn’t appropriate I always make myself available to the audience after the presentation.
